Bangladesh is going to celebrate its 50 years of independence in the year 2021. Accordingly, we are going to celebrate the 100th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as “Mujib Barsha” or “Mujib Year” during 2020-2021. The founder of USTC, late National Professor Dr. Nurul Islam is the eminent physician of the Indian Sub-Continent, and he served as the personal physician of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. In this connection, Bangladesh Vision 2021 is to become a poverty-free middle-income country; to develop a skilled and creative human resource; to become a globally integrated regional economic and commercial hub; to be environmentally sustainable; and to be a more inclusive and equitable society. It is expected that by 2030, Bangladesh will be the 24th largest economy in the world and by 2041 Bangladesh will be a country of knowledge economy. Keeping this in mind, USTC is going to organize this international conference on Fourth Industrial Revolution.
